Today whilst doing a chest with Maddox and Daalia and Symian, Maddox got a message from Leia saying she could use some help.

We gated to the desert near Compassion and were rapidly engaged with branubians and shaboolies. Much to my dismay, there was also a dragon named Crenshaw's Revenge which I discovered could kill in one blow.

We finally got things undercontrol and a few more people had joined us (Covenant Atei and Jared I remember but am sure more came also) so we decided it was time to take out Crenshaw's Revenge. After alot of spells, running and arrows, the mighty beast fell and was given the ultimate insult, it was zombied. The proud owner was Maddox, who beat me to the punch.

There was a note which said something like this...if you find the answer, it will be aMAZEing...being the intellects we are, we deducted that the Hedge Maze was in for something nasty, little did we know how nasty.

Several hours later, I spoke with Edison and he was on his way with several others to investigate the Maze as Ed had noted MILLIONS of branubians and shaboolies at the Maze. I joined his group which included Cloudchaser, Aimee, Raybell, Malacin (spelling?), Ehade, Elaine, Symian, Garth, and one other who I truly regret I cannot remember his name

We engaged the enemy and they were legion. We were saved by an announced world save and to my knowledge, there were no notes, but perhaps if Ed has one, he can post it here.

If you venture near the hedge maze, take extreme caution, they are many and many and many....

Sorry that I had to logout after the bird was killed (was 1:30 am my time).

Crenshaw

Yesterday Gall got jumped in the booli fort. Roc, Ciara, CC, Chastain, Strade, Greywolfe, Juliana and Aimee came to hekp him. We dealt with a deadly density of Branubians in the fort and faced off against Crenshaw. But, as Grey posted, we found a note saying it was not the real Crenshaw. I was also sceptical when Ogden met Gruedon that night.

This Gall's rendition of Ogden, Maddox, Wulf and Summer Myst's tale:

My fellow Lissarians made a post
in the quest Forums and so
Ogden made a quest to meet the Branubian host,
to the hedge maze he did go.
This is what he said, mark my flow:

I headed out to the hedge maze
without intent, to get my skin flayed
perhaps my mouth, I should have stayed,
when I called Wulf into the maze.
The music this bard made,
the various songs he played,
it was a time I would not trade
for the measly gold we made.
we worked out way to the center glade.

4 people online at that time
Summer Myst, and Maddox heeded the call
lemme just put down in rhyme
the 5 hour battle, or should I saw ball
and with Bromix's power, we rocked all.
To crazed beats the nubs fought
against each other like a rewired robot.
I fired arrows through the Pythonian hedge,
but Wulf and I died, stuck on a ledge.
From the dark of night
till the sun arose
we matched the branubian's
hefty blows.
Froze, so many times
the node in Texas,
dropping our lines.
Cur, sorcerer, marksman, beast
we will not give in
even when
our hearts have ceased.
released: from our bodies lean
everyone saw the grey screen.
But out team,
we stuck together
through the trying endevour.

I had such a fun with you yesterday in Maze and this tale from you makes it all even better. Thanks to the host of that server in Texas too...without all those packet losses it wouldn´t be the same =)

Thankyou Fitz, Nox and Loakie for inviting me to join you in the Maze yesterday .. I believe my henchmen bit the dust more times than breathed air, but they did a fine job when they WERE alive
