March Playtimes

Postby Drocket on Wed Apr 02, 2003 6:58 am

Another month gone by, and as usual, here are this month's playtimes:

Total playtime: 16812 hours
Total active accounts: 324

Breakdown by playtime:
Over 100 hours - - - - - 50 accounts
75 to 100 hours - - - - - 28
50 to 75 hours - - - - - 42
25 to 50 hours - - - - - 52
10 to 25 hours - - - - - 32
Under 10 hours - - - - - 120

Highest playtimes:
1st place: 406 hours, 8 minutes
2nd place: 382 hours, 42 minutes
3rd place: 309 hours, 3 minutes

I'd also like to remind people that they should probably log out and eat every once in a while...

1st place averaged a little over 13 hours/day; 2nd place averaged just under 12.5 hours/day; 3rd place averaged just under 10 hours/day.

And I thought I spent a lot of time in game...

Are these people actually playing that much, or are they running some sort of macros?

Most of them are actually playing. I occasionally tend to check in on people who are online (especially the people who are at the top of the .online list, since they've been on the longest) to see if they're macroing (When I find someone who is, they tend to develop 'connection problems' ) and its actually pretty rare that I find someone who is macroing...

I usually play about 8 hours a day. I'm thinking that those people who play that much in a day, are one of a couple of things:

a) have access to the game at work (therefore they are slackers who don't do their job :D)
b) are unemployed high school graduates who live with their parents.
c) are like me and only sleep about 4 hours a night or less

Playtimes

Don't forget some people are disabled or long term illness, and can't get out to much. :( So for these people it, it is a way of contacting others and having some fun in there otherwise dreary lives :)

This is a very true situation for some of us. And believe me, most of us who have this issue would much rather be working and not slacking off.
