I may be a lil outdated on information, but i didn't know you could check the status of weapons on vendors and once i purchased a weapon and found out it was somewhat worn. I asked in a polite manner to resolve this between me and the owner of the vendor to get a responce of "Glad i got what i asked for it". Is that proper? Sure, as heck don't seem honorable to me, but then again i am.

If I was the vendor owner, I'd just refund your money since you didn't know you could check item conditions. A good proportion of vendor owners probably would do this. But another viewpoint might be that ignorance is no excuse. Hard and cold but there ya have it.
