I found some maps, and borrowed a boatfrom someone, but is there a trick to where you can dock and get on the boat. I kept trying along the coast line, and at the dock in Jhelom, but I couldn't get on the boat, and it wouldn't dock it at the dock. am I doing somthing wrong?

To get on the boat, you need to extend the plank, sometimes you can just walk on but often ans not you need to double click on the plank to get on, to lower the plank you can either double click on the raliing of the boat at either side of the mast or say "extend planks".

Its been a while but I thinkyou simply say "drydock" while near, but not on the boat.

I know how to extend the plank, but I can't get onto it.

I just tested this with my boat, double clicking the extended plank should put you on the boat.
