Ode to the Well Dressed
"Ode to the Well Dressed"
Braedon
Last night I met a strange young man
Near the park in East Britain
I had to stop and stare you see
I double-taked not once but three
"That's an odd looking hat," I said
It sat upon this fellow's head
"I hope I do not cause a fuss,
But it truly looks like an octopus"
It jingled and jangled as he walked
People in the street all turned and gawked
Most folks laughed, "Oh what a fool!"
But one lad said, "I think he's cool"
Weeks went past, and it came to be
43 people had hats like he
"When hunting, it helps us fill our sack"
So everyone wanted such a cap
They wore them to show non-conformity
"We want to stand out in a crowd, you see"
We want to be different, to have some flare
"I know, what do you think of pure white hair?"
Black clothes, white locks, and jester's caps
The uniform of the real kewl chaps
I say this boys, not to cause a feud,
But you really need your own look dewd
